Drywall & Painting

Perfect drywall patches require no less than 4 coats. Sometimes more depending on how jacked up the wall/patch is. 

We can do perfect drywall, but at minimum it takes 4 coats. So for small patches that means putting a heater on it to force it to dry faster. For larger patches that means multiple visits. 

 I gained my drywall experience by working for a drywall guy turned general contractor. He taught me a lot of tips and tricks that I still use to this day. 

I'm not a big fan of hanging large amounts of new drywall such as an entire room or a complete basement. This is because generally speaking; finishing new drywall is pretty easy if it's hung correctly. This means it's usually not that hard to hire a small qualified crew to hang and finish a room much faster and cheaper then I can.

 Painting is another area where I'm usually easily out matched. Good painting crews are pretty easy to find. Thumbtack, Home Advisor, Google. 

Great painting crews are a little harder to find. Great painters take down and return all your cover plates, lights, ac registers and smoke alarms. 

 I abstain from exterior painting. The exception to this rule is if my team or I repaired or installed the siding.
